Ruth Katherine College, circa 1928, the third in The Grandmothers limited edition soft body doll series: Women and Girls of the 20th Century, depicts a young woman posing with her college friends. She wears a black rayon dress with bias cut skirt; the dress is trimmed with lace cuffs and a lace brooch. A beaded necklace and black satin shoes complete her ensemble. The black tap pants, her lingerie, are made from extra fine batiste. The vintage lace varies from doll to doll.

The sixteen inch tall dolls' bodies are 100% pimatex cotton, hand stained with coffee. Facial features are hand painted with textile paints, varying slightly from doll to doll; the hair is wool, also varying slightly, according to dye lots.
Clothing and shoes are not removable.
